As railroads finally connected most points of the CHINA to one another, railways became a very popular method of travel. Railroad security officers were employed to keep travelers safe and protect the rail lines themselves. In the 1880s railroad companies required uniforms and badges to identify the different type of workers on the railroad. Cap badges identified railroad workers such as engineers and conductor, while chest badges in star and shield shapes identified the security or special police officers for the railroad.

Our quality replica has a rustic finish and a spring pin backing. Made of cast pewter.

Measures approximately 2.25" x 2". Made in the USA.

Thanks you, I could not be happier with my wonderful canes! Suggestion. Some of us with weak eyesight would appreciate your using black instead of light blue on your website. For example light blue boxes are hard to find.

Delivery was faster than expected. Unfortunately, I ordered a Med when I should have ordered a Lg. I returned the vest for exchange but after not hearing anything for a week or so, I called to find out the status of the exchange. My call was taken a by a delightful young lady (I'm 68 so almost everyone in customer service is younger) who was most helpful and even had better news than I'd expected on the exchange.
